Am I missing something here? Its not even like hes hyphenating because the word carries onto the next like below. Its literally like they were prevented from pray-ing and this has increased the dan-ger of an uprising

Maybe in the original draft they were multiline but it got reformatted at some point and they didn't realize they left in they hyphens. I really have no idea.

Thats about the only thing that makes sense, I just stumbled across con-firmed.
