After CE ROASTED me for posting this pic a few weeks back I realised I need a new tv, l o l.

That said I have so many things I'd rather spend money on so tbh I think I don't want to drop more than 250-300 (350-400 freedom bux).

My living room is pretty small (lol communism m i rite) so I doubt I need bigger than 50 inches.

What's the thing with TV these days? Apart from not being tvs for ants

I don't know specifics, because my TV is about your size (and used as an unofficial second computer screen)

But in 'murica, we can definitely get TVs for that size and that price. Not sure if that's a worldwide thing, or if we're just practicing our obesity freedoms

50 inch hdtv from 10 years ago is more than fine

Do I wanna go that or maybe a slightly smaller smart tv with higher res, though?

Just get a good sized monitor. I have a 24" ASUS that I use for both console games and my laptop.

I don't quite know what the tech is about these days or what is important. Hz, LCD, 4k, etc.

I measured my space and I reckon 43-50inches is about perfect. The TV is the picture is about 28 inches I believe.

Can I just say by the way

I have literally never gone out to buy a piece of tech without someone/an article/a video - telling me that I should "wait for the next generation coming out soon".

Every goddamn time. There is always something new coming out and you should wait for it. Has anyone ever actually bought something without this being the case? Presumably there is a sweet spot where you get the thing just as it comes out.

You need a computer monitor, not a tv.

The PS4 Pro supports 4K, but too few games uses it to justify it.
Some games supports HDR, which gives a more colorful picture.
Getting a 4K HDR TV/monitor just for the PS4 Pro is not worth the extra money. If you plan to get a nextgen console in the near future, then it might be a good idea to consider it for future proofing it.
If that is further into the future, then you will most likely be able to get a better TV cheaper when that time comes.
I suggest trying to get a 1080p OLED TV.

Unless you have a huge living room and will be sitting 10 plus feet away from it, you don't need a 60 inch. I've got a 40 and it works just fine for my small living room.
