If they can pick off enough then fine but now it's about exciting the base and the base of the party isn't really white moderates anymore, they're minorities. Getting the black and Hispanic vote out can help not only in the Presidential election but also at the down ballot, especially in the south and midwest. Turnout in certain cities like Atlanta, Milwaukee, Detroit, Miami, etc can change the electoral map. I would say MSNBC has a larger influence on Dem voters than Russia. Biden has a temper tantrum whenever met with any opposition or question that isn't fluff.
