SocksForWokMAX2 08/23/20 7:22:32 AM #7:	Just finished it.... The alien bursting out of the iceblock the way it did was incredibly anticlimactic and the CGI was poor. The fact that scientists wanted to go without protective gear was also very dumb. You don't even see how most got infected. It certainly wasn't great or very good, and nothing close to the first which is one of the best films I can ever recommend, but people act like it's one of the worst films ever and it's not really. The fact that the original, made using puppetry and animatronics, looks better and more unsettling, is definitely bad for the prequel, but it's not a bad film in and of itself. One of the main issues for me is just ~~how quick it is to move on and attack the humans.
