Have been to NYC a half dozen times, never once rode the metro. Don't feel like I'm missing out though I imagine it's probably better than the one in DC.

Its just a regular old ass subway. The ones in Tokyo are worse because if youre over 6ft you have to duck under beams.

The ones in DC are WAY better than the ones in NYC lol. Atleast the DC ones are somewhat clean

I just hate it when I need to take stupidly indirect routes. I lived off the J line in Brooklyn, so I'd always have to transfer in lower Manhattan. But sometimes you have to transfer a couple times, especially if you want to take an express

Off topic I made the mistake once of driving to a buddies place in bedstuy and I swear brooklyn has the most traffic lights on the planet
