Some POS twin-stick shooter which played to a growing political divide to advertise itself.

I still maintain that being banned from Steam isn't tantamount to censorship, since you can sell and release pretty much anything you want over the internet as long as it isn't contraband. Hatred could have gone unrated, and they could have sold the game directly from their website or found another platform. Being barred from Steam isn't the end of the world, especially if you have the sort of publicity behind you that Hatred did.

But a bunch of edgy chuds decided that Steam banning a game which advertised itself as a mass-shooting simulator was an infringement of the developer's free speech, and it became a fucking human rights issue. And now no-one cares about the game because it was an absolute turd of a game.

Besides Japan only visual novels and re ratings like San Andreas, there has never been an AO game that was ever good, so Hatred being shit shouldnt be surprising.

I'd kinda be interested in playing game like Postal or Hatred from the point of view of non shooters

Like you could pick from different roles like a teacher or a student or a security officer etc and each character starts the game in a different position when the shooting starts but the goal is to survive

Civvies Hatred vid is the only coverage of it you need at this point.
