Married with Children is one of the all-time greats, and I think we could really use a show with a similar attitude in today's era of hypersensitivity and overly PC nonsense. Call it "Married with Grandchildren" or something. Have Al still working at the shoe store in his old age. Throw a couple of dysfunctional grandkids into the mix. It wouldve been worth it just to see Ed O'Neill play Al one more time. IIRC Ed said that after the series ended he or somebody else had conjured up a proper final episode where the Bundys win the lottery or something but then something happened (natural disaster or something) that killed them all instantly lol. Honestly, the funny thing is I picture in this day and age the Bundy's lives havent changed at all. Al still works at the shoe store. Peggy still does nothing. Bud and Kelly still live at home. The D'Arcy's still live next door. Nothing has changed except they're all 20+ years older --- 'We're not gonna make it, are we? People i mean.'
