Vote probably goes to Attack of the Clones here, but it has been so long since I saw any SW movie apart from the original trilogy, Rogue One, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker.

AotC and RoS are the only movies I despise, but I can at least laugh at the dumb shit in RoS compared to the total apathy I feel towards AotC.

Sequel trilogy > prequel trilogy, like it should be!

On a side note, I find the whole idea that the sequel trilogy is misandrist to be laughable. Men in positions of power go around raping women and making decisions that lead to the deaths of millions, yet they genuinely think Poe having to be disciplined by Holdo and grumpy old Luke are serious problems from a POLITICAL perspective? Are men, like, not allowed to show weakness now? How thick-skinned can these people get? Seriously, Holdo's gender has no bearing on who she is - it could have easily been a male character in the same position. Honestly the whole Poe and Holdo dynamic in TLJ is basically Samus and Adam from Metroid: Other M with the genders reversed - and done a lot less badly to boot. At least accusing that game's plot of misogyny makes some sense given Samus is one of gaming's premier heroines - what's the excuse here?

If the sequel trilogy was feminist propaganda, Luke would have tried to molest Rey, but he doesn't even acknowledge her gender in any way. Doesn't even tell her she's pretty or anything. So yeah those people are borderline misogynists to me, and if they bring up Leia as an excuse I'll just invoke the Grandfather Clause. If these people don't want to be painted as bigots, acting like Trump supporters (e.g. blaming women and POC for ruining movies like they do for ruining America) should be something they avoid at all costs, but they don't even try and if anything invite further comparisons. They even react to opposing views just like Trump does. No wonder so many men seem to have no idea how to behave around women.

Long story short, a surprising number of criticisms of the sequel trilogy carry the implications that the people making them view white men as the default state of humanity. If that's not bigotry I don't know what is.

Attack of the Clones. The sequel trilogy became kind of a mess, but a fun mess, and Force Awakens is almost up near original trilogy caliber imo. AotC is almost like a soap opera at times, with very little interesting in it. Phantom Menace at least had podracing and a better lightsaber fight, and Revenge of the Sith you finally see Anakin become Vader. Rogue One might be 2nd worst, not memorable at all. Haven't seen Solo.

But I'm genuinely very angry with people complaining about stuff grumpy old Luke as an indication of a feminist agenda when men go around doing FAR worse. And nothing bad the male characters do in the sequel trilogy is tied to their gender. Most bad things men do in real life are, on the other hand.

That was my point. The way I see it, using the term "feminist propaganda" as a derogative implies that it specifically sets out to make men look bad. I see no evidence whatsoever of that in the sequel trilogy or any aspects of a traditional female power fantasy, so someone taking issue with this from a political perspective (as opposed to from a narrative perspective) tells me things about them I don't even want to imagine.

Why do people need men to look good on screen? Complaining about portrayals of male characters in movies strikes me as beyond stupid, as if men are suddenly marginalized and need to be depicted positively.

I'm shocked that the 3 sequel movies aren't at the top with a bullet. TFA was serviceable, despite the hack that is JJ Abrams just shitting out an ANH clone. TLJ and ROS are just objectively absolute shit that have zero redeeming qualities. At least AotC has some "so stupid its funny" moments, and TPM has some legitimately good parts.

Probably because even if they told terrible rehashed stories, they are still shot significantly better than the PT (Lucas infamous "green screen shots" where characters walk a limited space then stop) and are acted significantly better than the PT. And considering these are major movies in a huge movie franchise, celebrating them the same way you'd celebrate B-movie schlock (so bad it's good) doesn't make a lot of sense.
