Epic actually had a pretty good point on this one. There are all sorts of apps like amazon and delivery apps that let people pay directly and securely without going through app store payments. Doesnt really make sense to single games out

But you still can download the APK on Epic site so you can play it on Android OS.

Wouldn't this be like steam where steam takes a 30% cut on transactions? You can still distribute software on mobile not going through the App Store, it's just not a process most people are familiar with because the app stores are such a better way of doing it...even on Mac I'll take an app-store version of something.
