Imagine 20% of the country going homeless during the unrelated anti-government nationwide riots during a pandemic and a depression.

I very much imagine guillotines could happen. So congress better take that war budget and cough it up.

The French Revolution sprung up because people were fed up of being poor as fuck while the aristocrats and monarchy had everything they wanted and could do anything they wanted. That led to people getting their heads cut off, and their selection process was "Who looks like they are rich."

Id like to see some percentages of people destroying cities vs peaceful protesting. Its probably less than .5 percent of people protesting actually causing property damage.

Ironically it seems like the most iconic member/example of the aristocrats entitlement, Marie, was innocent of at least half the accusations of wealth and snobbery leveled against her. Maybe that's just because the times she was innocent stand out more than the times she was guilty or maybe she really wasn't as bad as they made her out to be; I don't know.

Get off your damned high horse. There are thousands of cops in America every day and they have jobs to do. You're acting like every single time an innocent dies at the hands of the cops it's the result of some racism or something similar. Accidents happen, mistakes happen, and wrong calls get made. There's a massive world of difference between a cop gunning down an unarmed black man because he thought something the man was holding was a weapon and a cop gunning down an unarmed black man in cold blood because of racism. If you act, think, or believe for even a damned second that law enforcement is equatable to these riots raging in places like Seattle and Chicago then you're a fool.

That's nowhere near what we're seeing in these cities with these mobs. Mobs that do crap like show up to private property and harass the civilians, screech throughout the night to keep people awake, and break into stores to loot, before being protected by people whining about law enforcement 'shutting down peaceful protesters and demonstrators'. Peaceful protestors lobbing fireworks at courthouses and then protecting the throwers. Yea. Right.

Cause in my city and state we are busy dealing with having to bury loved ones due to Covid 19. A pandemic that while all other countries saw and took seriously, our commander in chief dismissed as a democrat hoax. Thats right, the United States Democrats caused a WORLD WIDE hoax to vex Trump.

My state has also been dealing with the loss of small businesses due to this very same issue. All the while places like South Korea have had huge success flattening the curve and effectively beating this virus.

Maybe if that blue/leftist Obama had left us with a team of doctors and scientists able to monitor and respond to a pandemic... then maybe wed be alright. Oh wait... he did. And Trumps dumbass got rid of it because hes been trying to undo the black mans legacy.

People are so stupid. You think any group the size of the left or right won't have hundreds of thousands of awful people and absolute morons? The protests could be the most noble thing of all time, but that wouldn't stop bad people from joining in.

I've said it before but any open movement without a singular leader is doomed to the exact same fate. It's the reason the BLM protests won't amount to anything despite being a good cause, it's the reason any form of social reform is virtually doomed to failure. People WILL join your movement and fuck everything up, every single time, without fail, and they will do it in your cause's name. It stands in the way of feminism and equality.

Imagine how easy it must be now days to get away with something. When people protest, do nothing, and just wait for someone in the protest to do something unforgiveable and pin it on the movement as a whole. Then, 2-3 months later, no matter what the outcome is, the vast majority of people will be tired of hearing about it and tell everyone to shut up about it despite nothing getting solved. It happens with everything lately.

People are just too stupid and awful and I don't know what there is to be done about it. I don't know how democracy can function when the average person is too stupid to be making decisions.
