Once you get pass with the nudity I felt like it didnt ruin the show at all. It did felt off early but then its comedy factor so it plays well with the theme.

i surprisingly liked it since I randomly binged watched it on netflix

The fuck? They do not in any way look like men. Unless you mean that only men can be angry and glare at things?

Their faces are very masculine. Satsuki is like those long haired samurai from Bleach or Ruronai Kenshin and Ryuko is meant to be incredibly masculine, with her name being based off of Ryu, the most common name for Japanese male protagonists, and a scratchy deep voice (her English VA is the same VA for Ash and she uses a deeper voice for Ryuko than him). Even Mako has a short bowlcutish hair. Their bodies are very feminine but thats why I thought they were crossdressers since theres no shortage of male characters with feminine bodies in anime.
Its pretty obviously meant to fit a theme though since the most blatantly cute and girly character in the series is also one of the most powerful and ruthless villain in the show

Look at the thumbnail of that. Dont tell me it doesnt look like one of those long haired samurai characters vs a yugioh protagonist. Yugi looks more feminine than Ryuko.

Yeah, never seen the show but I looked the characters up and their faces are both pretty androgynous imo.

Kenshin is noted to be girly, -ko is the most common affix for girls names, and the bobcut is very standard Japanese girly hair.

They aren't at all masculine, you just consume a specific bubble of media where all the men are feminine. Seriously, Kenshin? Hasn't he been confused for a girl in his own series?

I honestly dont get why the two of you are denying them clearly being designed to be more masculine. The villains trying to force them to be more feminine is literally a plot point. Maybe youre misunderstanding this as an attack on them? On the contrary, I think its one of the unique aspects that makes the show stand out.
Or maybe you feel weird at the idea that a character you fapped to is masculine. >_>

Not at all. They're just... not masculine. They do not look at all masculine. I see triangular jawlines and thick eyelashes.

DITF is fucking awful, literally one of the worst anime I've ever seen. It's literally "we want the Kill La Kill audience but we have no idea what actually made people like Kill La Kill in the first place so we'll just copy its twist with no good development for it and only 5 episodes left for the payoff". Fuck that show, fuck every person who thought that story was a good idea, and fuck every character in the show except Ichigo who did nothing wrong.

I take it under firm advisement that one should avoid all anime tie in fighting games

So do pretty much every shonen male protagonist. I think were interpreting masculine differently. A tomboy is masculine. Ryuko and Satsuki are some of the most tomboyest characters Ive seen in anime. Even Mako is kind of tomboyish with her fighting uniform being the iconic leather jacket, cap, and clover of street thugs. You might be exclusively thinking of those over the top jojo musclehead characters as masculine.

Never did understand why every anime game needs a generic fighting game crapped out.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is an exception imo. But yes avoid anime arena fighters at all cost.

Even some of the traditional fighters are off. Shaman King for example has one tied into some weird tactical rpg skeleton but it does allow you to fight in an arcade mode.

With three or four of the fighters locked behind random.

Its excellent.

Yeah, at a glance, it seems like it is heavy on the fanservice, but it doesn't really employ the nudity for titillation. More for self-aware comedy.

In fact I'd almost say that the fanservice is deliberately portrayed as parody

Most of the male protags in Shonen Jump don't look like either of em, though. Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, DBZ, YYH, Slam Dunk, HxH, Doctor Stone, BHA, what else? You're the one comparing girl characters to a deliberately feminine male like Kenshin.

Ryuko and Satsuki definitely has the same kind of boyish facial features as the protagonists of YYH, HxH, Doctor Stone, and BHA. In fact, theyre more masculine than Killua who I thought was a girl at first. Satsuki is also similar in appearance to Android 17, Sasuke, and definitely some long haired Bishonen in Bleach.

It's not meant to be taken seriously. Just like Gurren Lagann. The ridiculousness is the appeal.
