just throw the nick cage ghost rider back in the mix
don't even remake the movie, just buy the rights (if needed?) and slap that marvel scroll at the start and get a nice chair ready because buddy you are about to sit back and count the bucks

If Phase Five goes through with this then that's all the mainstream live action Marvel films accounted for.

Blade will just be a quippy hero who fights vampires that explode into dust when hit.

At this point, I wouldn't trust any future plans beyond Phase 4 and even the tail end of that.

If movie theaters do end up dying as it seems, plans will definitely change and they'll start going more low budget.

if you think disney is letting billions of dollars slip through their fingers, i've got a bridge in brooklyn to sell you.

Why is it always Brooklyn? Nobody tries to sell a bridge in Milwaukee.

I live in Brooklyn. What's up?

Seriously though, I have no idea what you mean. Theaters dying has nothing to do with Disney.

They'll still release all this stuff, sure. It just won't be the big spectacles we're used to and things will be moved around and whatnot.

Meh I care less and less about the MCU after Endgame. The closure felt good and the next Spider-Man movie just felt tacked on

Theaters dying has nothing to do with Disney.

Except it does and all the major theaters have already secured deals to keep them through the year and you can bet your ass disney will swoop in if this pushes into 2021. Disney isn't giving up billion dollar revenue streams. IF they don't outright buy the theaters themselves, they'll push favorable to them loans to the theaters.

you can always count on corporate greed

I'm still confused on what you mean. What deals? The one with AMC not showing Universal movies if they release digitally? And the subsequent deal where Universal will be allowed to release a movie 15 days after a theatrical release?

I highly doubt we're gonna see movies in theaters again this year. Unless the whole country is reopened, it would be a loss to release blockbusters in segmented markets.

These theaters can't keep paying millions in rent every month. Disney itself has realized this, hence releasing such a huge movie like Mulan digitally. Aladdin and Lion King made them almost $3 billion and this was likely to secure at least a billion. Yet, they're about to take the risk. And if it's even mildly successful, BW will follow and then they'll adjust their budgets to keep going with that.

so you mean movies of daredevil and punisher? i just want new seasons of the netflix shows. just revive that on disney plus. they'll probably have to pay for the rights for the early seasons i'm expecting it to come to disney plus eventually. new season would be awesome to see.

would like them to continue agent carter but i gave up on that one since it's been so long already.

I was actually looking forward to the next seasons of Iron Fist and Daredevil.

Still early in Punisher S2 and haven't seen S3 of Jessica Jones.

I'm pretty sure an issue with this is that Disney+ exclusive content has to be family friendly.
