The one with AMC not showing Universal movies if they release digitally? And the subsequent deal where Universal will be allowed to release a movie 15 days after a theatrical release? I highly doubt we're gonna see movies in theaters again this year. Unless the whole country is reopened, it would be a loss to release blockbusters in segmented markets. These theaters can't keep paying millions in rent every month. Disney itself has realized this, hence releasing such a huge movie like Mulan digitally. Aladdin and Lion King made them almost $3 billion and this was likely to secure at least a billion. Yet, they're about to take the risk.
