yeah the pirate banner is rough. probably not worth it, but there is an allure to getting a new unit. if you do want to make B!Edelgard a long-term merge project, now is as good a time as any since there's guaranteed value in the banner.

I didn't quite get what I was after, but got +Atk Nils and +Def/-Atk Mila. Should I keep +Res Nils or +Atk?

That depends on what you're using Nils for. Though I would probably go with +Atk since +Res puts him at 29 base, which probably won't soak up a Res Chill.

I'd probably go with +Atk also. Spd is the best, and I don't think Res does very much for him unless you really want to stack it to soak a debuff.

Next set of limited Divine Codes have Quan and PA!Olivia as their 5*s. Quan has Spd/Def+ so that's great for scoring.

Also as a reminder You will need an Android OS 4.4 or higher to run this game after the next update. Not sure what the apple equivalent of that is.

honestly my favorite thing about this game is organizing units. i have a bunch of minor units with both +atk & +spd versions and if i could just switch on the fly it would make my barracks look so much nicer and i can just turn the extras into manuals or merge to get rid of negatives. this is like the most excited i've ever been about a game lol

Just a heads up though, I wouldn't get too excited; it sounds like after the first 100 they will come in pretty gradually. And just based on scoring in certain modes.

I just realized that Lys(Both of them) are the only ones with Spd/Res Lull. A skill I'd love to have on Ursula. It's somewhat tempting to pull for her, even though I've already spent more orbs than I wanted to on the first spark(I'm happy I got a Cladue, and I sparked Dimitri). I've always had rotten luck with Red though, and this is a 4 man banner...

I do have my free summon still, I'm just not 100% sure if I want to use it now. I tend to save my free CYL summons until very late(I still have my CYL 3 free summon waiting for me..).

i didn't use my CYL2 summon until the pirate tempest trials, where i finally gave in and picked Veronica. the others i did right away for various reasons - BLyn was so good and i pulled Ike and Roy, Camilla was all i cared about from 3 and even got a free Micaiah, and the spark system allowed me to just get everyone this time since i pulled both Lysithea and Claude in my first 40 summons.

i did give some thought to going for a second spark, maybe hope to get Edelgard along the way and i could get a couple more Lysitheas but Legendary Corrin ruined that (didn't get her but finally got Julia at least, also Mila).

I wasn't originally planning to pull on the legendary banner, but decided to go in on colorless since they are all new, and I really want Bramimond. It didn't really work out. Got a F!Ike dupe and L!Eirika dupe. But I did get the final Legault I need.

I'm still sitting on my Legault, not sure what I want to give him. A lot of people swear by Red Hot Ducks, but that of course requires saccing a hero I'd never sac. Granted with the speed powercreep, that's probably not as viable.
Remember when Legault was the fastest dagger? Well I suppose he's still the fastest easily merged dagger outside of giving Kronya fruit for a 1 point advantage(Most would likely want +Atk anyway).

The Cleaner probably still works, Barb as well. Not sure if Legault is getting a refine anytime soon considering he's not a terrible gen 2.

Starfish is not a bad option if you have it. Frees up a premium B skill like a lull or special spiral. Barb and the Cleaner both seem fine too. I gave mine Red Hot Ducks, but never went out of my way to get it.

I can get L!Erika up to +4 if I want now. Can she get a refine? Lunar Brace is pretty lackluster

Ohh! I forgot about Starfish! I have several Summer Lindes I don't want(The first Duma banner...) I actually could give Atk/Def Lull by saccing Duo Ephraim(Rip that HB4 though)... or sac Lewyn for Special Spiral. Spd/Def lul would require waiting for NY!Lethe.

I would feel so bad foddering Eph for a less optimal lull. That HB4 fodder is too desirable. It's a matter of time before the lull reappears on a new banner you can spark for.

My L!Eirika does the typical GF + Desperation thing. She's +Spd which is nice. But Eliwood can really do the same thing

I got a +Def -Res Mila off this banner. Corrin or Bramimond would have been nicer, but I'll take it. Do you guys use her in Aether raids? I'm not sure if I want to use three light mythics, but that isolation seems pretty useful

She replaced Brunnya and has earned her stay for me. Isolation, Sabotage Atk, extra turn, Rally Def/Res+, extra HP and Def for blessed units, and the mini-drive effect all coalesce into a great support unit, but I got carried away and thought she could survive two hits from a Peony, and I think the only reasons she didn't survive was because of chip damage, but I can't remember what happened

Did you keep her default A skill? I feel like Fortress Def/Res might be optimal to help draw the shrine to her, but I don't have it.

The first attempt with her was a success. Eir/Mila/Peony/F!Ike/B!Edelgard. Isolation the dancer, and Ike was able to solo after getting hit with the panic tower.

For AR, I am using Fortress Def 3 for now. I have a Kliff, but I want to hold onto him in case he gets a good refine since I like his tome animation, but I know it'll be a looong wait. I also don't want to go get his manual just yet as I want to save the codes for when I really need them for something. I felt dumb because I upgraded Fortress Res seal, then realized Mila is better off with Phantom Res :(

That's a killer offense team. You shouldn't ever have trouble unless you misplay, but watch out for Lunge. What's your Astra team?

I didn't even consider Phantom Res, and upgraded Fortress Res today. It's not the worst though. I can split them between her and Tethys since I just started building her with Temari. Lunge is pretty rare, but you're right about it being really annoying when it comes up.

Astra is usually Naga/Altina/B!Micaiah/F!Julia/L!Azura. Azura should probably be a dancer I could actually bless, but the bonus movement dance is too strong. +Atk Altina can really carry some maps. And Julia laughs at Thrasir. Who do you use?

I'm thinking about swapping Sakura with B!Veronica for one of those since she is the only one I'm not swapping blessings for each week, running low on Astra blessings, but I don't have to use her much. Vero used to be part of my core. The lack of healing on Astra does hurt sometimes, but I don't want to carry Healing Tower since I find better use out of other buildings

Hoping I have better luck getting the new Astra Mythic, I wouldn't mind just getting another Altina. Can't score high with Astra as it is. They've done an awful job with Astra Mythic's. We only have two when we have four Dark and four Anima.

Update is out.

... The bad news is that we don't get our 100 fruit right away, so it looks like the 100 fruit is going to have to wait until the 15th and do whatever quests they want us to do celebrate Frontline Phalanx.

Also Hector totally won in refines.

ALSO ALSO... we don't know how much fruit we'll be getting from Arena/RB/FB, but we can see the rewards for Mjolnir's Strike and....

Yeah, dripfed as fuck. Literally 5 fruit for rank 21. 3 for Rank 18-20

I scrounged together the last of my chain challenge orbs and landed a neutral Bramimond. Back to hoard mode.

Congrats, Yankees. I spend orbs on just about every LH/MH banners these days as they've gotten very loaded. The only one I didn't spend on was Seliph's in recent memory

God Hector reclaims his place, and it's only fair Celica gets a great refine while Vero gets a tame one

Lastly, totally didn't think Dimitri could pull it off, but yay victory feathers!

I think Bramimond and Edelgard are the only new mythics/legends I chased this year. But I was also fortunate to get Lif and Mirabilis on free pulls, and Mila on this one. It's a pretty neat touch that Bramimond gets four different voices. I'd like to pair him with Athos eventually.

btw, here's the upcoming mythic/legend tracker. Next month's could be any color. Red would be nice to line up with Time's Pulse and DC, but I doubt it.
