Were kicking a curveball your way with Lcioball Remix! In this faster, more chaotic version of Lcioball, two balls are in play the entire time and bonus balls worth extra points will periodically spawn around the arena. Be quick on your feet and net more goals than your opponents to win!

To shake things up in Lcioball, weve done a bit of construction work on our arenas in Busan and Sydney, bringing different options to the field and giving you more opportunities to show off your skills.

3 weekly challenges for icons/sprays/skins

Week 1 - Baseballmari icon, Union Jack spray & Union Jack Tracer epic skin

Week 2 - Golfimari icon, Sand castle spray & Sand Castle Bastion epic skin

I'm surprised by how good these non-legendary challenge skins are. Sandcastle Bastion is really cool, and I have no idea how Dessert Orisa doesn't count as a legendary, it's amazing.

I think 1 ball would be fine for the new Lucioball. The biggest issue it had was speed and downtime. Getting rid of the replays and reducing the cooldown on amp and boop were good enough changes to make the mode better. Multiple balls means more goals are being scored, but people also seem to get frustrated and give up trying to be goalie at all

@swordz9 did you hear about the Roadhog changes up on the experimental card? I remember way back when how mad you were they nerfed him. Now he might be getting his OHKO combo back... god have mercy

I did see that, but havent gotten to try him out yet. Roadhog cant really operate the way he used to now anyways because theres way more obstacles in the way of his hook. More barriers, more CC and new abilities to save people like immortality field. Most of the tank changes on the new Exp Card suck. Tanks dont need to be less tanky.

Total Mayhem is the only way I can still have fun in OW since they ruined all my characters. Let me know when they make it a constant and not a temp thing and I'll reinstall the game.

Total Mayhem is kind of a disaster too. Can be fun sometimes, but it just takes forever since nobody wants to die and its only really winnable on Defense

Brig is a disaster in the Exp card. You can be one-shot by snipers now and Roadhog hook is a death sentence without a Zarya bubble or immortality field or Hog getting CCd somehow. Shes so fragile she almost feels like Zenyatta minus the damage he can do.

I think Brig's design is a disaster in general. I think they should just give her a new ability to replace the shield because it never feels good using it.

Brig was basically a necessity because god Blizzard ever nerf Tracer or Genji or any other hyper mobile DPS who dunked all over the supports. Now we have Brig and Moira who tons of people hate because no skill braindead heroes, but theyre practically the only two supports who can survive in the game

Vulnerability is kinda synonymous with the support role.

IMO shes a bit of a pet peeve, shes not...really a healer. Her heals are passive and rely on her fighting. They're not reliable. I dislike it when someone wastes a healing spot on her. She should've been a DPS or a Tank with a healing gimmick like Soldier

It is, but some are significantly more vulnerable than others. Theyre doing all this to try and shake up the meta, but its ultimately not gonna change anything. The more you reduce barriers the more people are gonna rely on double barrier and it also drives away what few remaining tank players there even are. If Genji isnt hard nerfed Brig wont be going anywhere.

Nobody is gonna start playing off tanks in GM until barriers are so bad theyre at like 100 HP especially when THEY. ARENT. NERFING. DAMAGE. AT. ALL. Without double barrier you basically insta-die the second youre in line of sight

Brig is only good at extremely high levels of play. Essentially Brig is being nerfed because OWL players and GrandMasters want her nerfed so they can escape Brig jail. Meanwhile Ana has the support pick rate by the balls across the entire board and isnt being touched because nobody up there dislikes her or has issues with her since shes viewed as significantly more skillful to play

I can't speak for the experimental card changes since I haven't tried them out yet, but despite all the nerfs she got she's still one of the best supports in the game. She has the best AoE healing next to Moira, with the difference being she has wayyyyyy more utility. Moira is becoming more and more of a throw pick as damage is getting better since she really can't do anything else besides heal, which is worthless if your team is just instantly being deleted. Brig has good targeted healing, great AoE healing, a stun, a knockback, can block and cancel abilities and ultimates, can deal damage while healing, and has the single best Support ultimate in the game currently, one which charges extremely fast to boot. These healing nerfs are definitely going to hurt her hard, but they still don't affect her utility, and you should be playing her with another main healer anyway imo.

I mean, I feel while she has difficulty going in on an attack, this problem isn't much of concern with teamwork. People need to learn not to play poke games, it's a terrible strategy. Nothing sucks more when you have teammates that are too afraid to go in and be aggressive and get value so they just sit at the chokepoint for five minutes until overtime kicks in and they realize they actually need to do something to win the game. If you can get your tanks to actually push in with you then Brig doesn't have trouble getting her healing off. On defense this is less a concern unless your entire team is running a sporadic dive-y comp...

They could make it good if they just combined some of the changes. Like keep most of the Remix changes other than the dumb pillars near the goal and multiple balls and throw that into the regular Lucioball. 1 ball, faster amp, faster boop and no replays. Thats all it really needs. The remix one is kinda fun when people dont leave the goal constantly...I usually score a dozen or so points each run if I dont start in the goalie spot

As a high diamond/low masters Lucioball player since 2017 (so not a pro but good enough to know how the mode works), the hit detection has always been far worse than it should be and this year seems especially egregious.

I'm also assuming that either the 'SAVE' text is client-side while the actual ball is server side, causing the problem described to happen (it's happened to me as well), OR the threshold for putting the 'SAVE' text up is so low to the point where any impact on ball movement, however slight, triggers it whether it disrupts a shot or not.
