Electronic Arts' and Maxis' The Sims.

I played 1 and 2 on Xbox. Played a bit of 1 on PC a couple years ago.

Played like maybe an hour of 3 on PC not too long after it came out but by then I think I was a bit past it appealing to me.

The original. Never touched any of the sequels.

I was a big fan of the original, played it at my brother's house and had to get it >_>.

Didn't play the second one.

Played a bit of the third one, enjoyed it but when you're in your mid-20s and working full time it becomes less interesting. Bought 4 but didn't play it for more than a couple days.

I played the most recent one when EA offered it for free. It was fun for a weekend.

Besides building houses, interior designing, and killing your sims in creative ways, the games are pretty boring.

Had a blast on the first one; tried to design the ultimate house with path efficiency, maxed out all my humans with awesome jobs, etcetcetc.

Easiest thing to do is have a live in domestic keeper, tbh. 4 person household, 1 of which is the nanny of the crew. Two couples Nanny cooks (meal size is 4, anyways) and cleans and manages the friendships of the household while everyone else works and then improves on personal skills.

i always wanted to try. but i remember walking into a game store and there was literally a wall of sims and expansions. put me off the series for good.

I had the most fun with the first game. Never played 2, but have played 3 and 4 a little. I never stick with those ones too long, though. It doesn't help that the expansions are stupidly overpriced and I always miss the sales.

I'm a big sims nerd, got every expansion and stuff pack for 1, then 2, and I need more for 3 now -- I also loved the sims 1 and bustin out console versions as well, bustin out is prob my fave console sims game!

I keep up with most of the expansions. My current tiny-home Sim just got back from University on an eSports scholarship and needs a break from tinkering before he fries himself.

Nearly the same thing with me. I played the original for countless hours, bought nearly all the expansions, etc.
Bought The Sims 2 but didn't play it long. Between it being too powerful for my computer and me realizing they were just recycling the expansion pack thing for extra money, I was done.
