Some of us have masks that are actually comfortable to wear. I handmade all my masks and they fit my face very comfortably. I often get to the car and I don't even remember that I'm wearing my mask.

I enjoy wearing my masks because I'm proud of the work i put into them. Stay mad, though.

I do this at work because no matter what kind of mask you have, 8 hours without taking it off for more than a coffee sip will feel real, real gross.

I do this, because it really does get hot and stuffy in there, I have low heat tolerance as it is (particularly during the summer), and it only gets worse when leaving the (usually) a/c'd environment of the store.

Given the amount of people I still see not bothering to wear one at all even inside the store (when it is now supposed to be mandatory while indoors in any public building in my area), I think I would find something else to complain about in your shoes.

I want to "be a busybody" because choices don't exist in a vaccum. People can take their choices and shove them up their stupid asses when they start literally maiming and killing others. When did one person's life become the cost of another person's freedom? I don't remember signing up for that.

Republicans want to keep the smoking of a plant illegal despite it not hurting them, but recklessly spreading a contagious disease throughout the populace is perfectly fine because "muh personal freedoms".

Silly thread. I yank mine off when I get to the car because my local store doesn't run the AC worth shit and it's 100 degrees with a heat index of 110 on the parking lot. I can breathe fine, but I'm mentally/physically exhausted and need to literally cool off because there's tons of heat on my head.

Just did a 10 mile walk in under 3 hours last Friday, too. I'm pretty fit, I wear masks as required and give bad looks to people who don't. There's no need to gatekeep mask wearing because people take theirs off when it's safe???

I only take mine off ASAP because I have a long beard and the mask pushes it against my neck when I'm wearing it (gets itchy).

In the case my neck hasn't suffered from itchy-ness, I'll keep it on till I get to the car.
