I'm seeing some companies giving me options for music

classical
jazz
modern pop
country
Sometimes, they offer silence as an option

I chose classical and jazz a few times and now I just go with silence when possible. I had to hold for apple last week and chose silence--every ten minutes a voice would pop in to remind me that I'm still on hold.

10 minutes between the messages is nice--way better than when I had to hold for Bose last week and they reminded me every 10 SECONDS that I was still on hold. I was like BITCH I KNOW

I can't do silence. I called a business recently and the lady answered and I thought she said her name but she really said "please hold" really quickly.... Thought the call got dropped lol so I called back

Anyone notice that any company you call that has an automated selection system always has this Please listen carefully as our menu options have changed.

Like thats easily one of the most common messages I hear. Are menu options changes really so common? I personally have never noticed any of the places I frequently call actually change their menus around.
