Does anyone have that list of what bonuses having 9x weapon in the substone grid gives for each type?

Thanks. Looks like Sword Grid will give me the most HP for my two healers to play off of. I already had 9x swords on so that works out pretty well for me

The Substone grid still isn't even that black and white lol. There aren't enough units that are both matching weapon type and element for that to be huge yet, though it will in the future, but for example compare Dual Blades to Martial arts. 14% Attack for Martial and 17% for Dual, not a huge difference right? However, Dual Blade Memoria on average have a good bit higher attack Stat than martial arts Memoria on average, so the jump in attack power between the two is significant. I have a full decently leveled Martial Arts subgrid, 3 leveled up Rs and the rest are all max or near max SSRs/SRs, yet my Dual Sword subgrid which still has 4 level 1 Rs on it still gives my units around 250-300 more attack than the Martial grid.

Keele stones are farmable and provide similar stats. I used my Estelle stones to awaken her twice.

SSR Keele giver her additional Overlimit meter per turn, it's her best regardless of what party she's in.

Really wish half AP Gald had come before Power Ups. Having to waste all this AP grinding for Gald now because I'm running out of inventory space, which also means I can't get a bunch of Memoria in preparation for the Gald.

Overdue on refreshing my Arena team. Moved in some of my new Memoria, put in Rokurou over Lloyd/Yuri because they just weren't doing anything for my team, and moved out my awakened Gaius from anchor because my Fires weren't getting combo use and I have better options.

What option, I don't know. I haven't figured out what I want in my sixth yet. I like my team though.

Rokurou with a hopeful Wildfire on Velvet/Kohaku, followed up by Dezel doing AoE Poison and reaaaally taking down that Wind if Fire'd. Then Rita and Ludger for damage-dealing against type, often leaving Estelle around because she doesn't do too much damage and I can eat through defense fairly okay without worrying about healing. Got an awakened Misella in 5th for heals and defense boost.

Gotta start picking out SRs to use so I can have mono teams for the next set of Phantom Tower, with the exception of a cheeky Estelle on most teams.

Determined to use Magilou. Gonna try to justify Eleanor. Both have their Memoria to 90 so now I can start praying for duper to power up the units.

Really sucks that I have been so unlucky pulling Presea, since both her and her Memoria are highly valued.

Vesperia might have the worst sidequest content of the modern series. Truly mind numbingly boring stuff. I actual got almost all the way through Vesperia Definitive and dropped it because I just couldn't handle doing it anymore, but also wasn't willing to just mainline to the end when I had already invested so much time trying to 100%.

This is coming right off of Abyss, which while a lot of it is a pain to activate, content wise is probably the BEST in the series by far.

It's fine, varies from 30 to 60. There are hiccups in places but those were present in the original, too.

Honestly I think the real shame is that a lot of the new content just isn't great. Patty....sucks.

At the very least, the compendiums seem doable though tied to colisseum and maybe kitchen stuff. I would loathe doing Zestiria/Berseria because of how their equipment upgrades work, and there's no NG+ carryover/incentive for making +10 items.

I also think this event has more items quantity wise though, so maybe it's the same ratio wise.

The hardest tales content to consume is probably the games with kanonno. Only one of those games was even released in the US and it is on PSP.

Tales of Destiny 2 (the real one) no question. Game was never released in English. Only translation effor is a literal text document. Considered by many to be one of the best games in the franchise.

it is aggressively mediocre. It's also cheap and runs well on PC so it's not, like, the worst idea to play it. But you probably have other Tales games available to you that are better, so, kinda hard to recommend.

The only thing Zesteria that was any good that didn't then get repurposed into Berseria is Rising Up and the husband and wife scene.

Xillia is pretty OK so far, I'm about half way through. A very middle of the road Tales entrant. Xillia 2 is supposed to. Be very good, I hope to get to it soon.

I wound highly recommend checking out Graces. The story isn't amazing, characters are middle of the road, but the gameplay is just incredible. Arguably the best in the series, maybe even the genre. Just absolutely loads of fun, and what isn't arguable is the frankly unrivaled progression in difficulty setting. The game has....what was it, 9 different difficulties? Each one offering special bonuses and incentives, and the game is built around you raising that difficulty at your own pace from the bottom to the top as you continue. People often agree about Graces combat standing out, but rarely mention just how much that element of it is a factor. It's actually why I dropped Xillia originally in the first place when it came out, because it felt so basic after just finishing Graces.

Graces has fantastic combat. Maybe my favorite in any JRPG. The problem is that it's gated behind having high amounts of action points before it get really good, which doesn't really happen until late game...or if you buy the DLC which raises your action points...

I have no idea how people are cleaning out the rewards for these events, it seems like no matter how much time I sink into them I barely make a dent.
