I would advise against it unless you are really into the idea.
I have had my nipples pierced and let them close. I was rocking the pierced nipples for about 5 years. It took about another 3 years for the piercing to close up to normal. I wouldn't stop her, but I'd make it clear that if she went through with it we'd have to go our separate ways. I'd never tell anyone what they can and can't do with their bodies yet at the same time nipple piercings are just too much of a turnoff for me to get past.
