PatrickMahomes JustMyOpinion Who is the better poster? - Results (8 votes) PatrickMahomes 75% (6 votes) 6 JustMyOpinion 25% (2 votes) 2 @PatrickMahomes @JustMyOpinion https://challonge.com/2020CEerNomineeElections I was looking to see what matchup we had today, and the names hit me. It's finally time, Patrick (Muffinz) vs JMO for the 3rd and final time by my hands. I keep the tournament rng for matchups generally but there are a few that I intentionally create. What is so special about this matchup you may ask? Well, back in 2018 I started this competition and it was so much fun. We had an epic journey as we crowned the first ever champion for this series. The match to start it all: you guessed it, JMO vs Muffinz. Back in 2018, Muffinz landed the first blow with an exciting 46-30 victory to open it all. 2019 would give JMO his revenge as he would claim a 52-43 victory. I decided I should end the forced matchups at a best of 3. From this point on, they will only be against each other if fate will allow it. For now, this is the final fight, and you all get to claim once and for all, who is the better poster. Get ready because this match is set to explodeeee! Let's get both of the contestants answers now: PatrickMahomes: 1. What is your campaign's slogan? Remove the 4MB image size capacity! 2. Why should you be the CEer nominee? If I may answer your question with a question; why SHOULDN'T I be? Try to answer that one. Can't? Well there's your answer. 3. Is there any message you would like to give the CEople in light of the past few months? To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it.
