You know I thought the same thing when I played Sunshine. Turns out it was just my TV's input latency, which was greatly improved with game mode. However, the controls are extremely tight on a CRT, and I'd have trouble believing you'd feel the same if you were playing on CRT.

Do you mean like how if he turns around he kind of circles around and when he does a straight 180 he slides for a slip second?

The problem with the game is most platforming challenges are founded under the assumption that your mind is being blown just because you're moving in 3D.

yeah, if anything Mario is way slipperier in Sunshine than 64

it's part of what makes the non-FLUDD areas so hard

I mean how he trips over and slides along the floor very easily and takes awhile to stop moving when running
