masterpug53 07/30/20 3:26:13 PM #7:	I found the difference mainly to be that Goodfellas has a lot of humor in it, whereas Casino is much dryer. Part of the appeal of a rise-and-fall movie is that the first act gives you a feel of why this lifestyle would genuinely be attractive to some. I was also much, much more aware of how much of Casino is voiceover narration as opposed to on-screen dialogue than I was in Goodfellas (though I couldn't tell you what the ratio is for each movie, and would be interested to know). Ultimately I'd say one's a more stylized drama and the other has more of a documentary feel.
