I'm sure we've seen dozens/hundreds of videos at this point, but here's a compilation I haven't seen yet. Some of the scenes here were new to me, like the undercover car sideswiping a protester, a few of the clips where cops speedblitz unsuspecting protesters to push them with all their might, the bag-holding woman walking away from the cop who reaches mace in her unsuspecting face and dumps the can on her, and the horseman trampling a protester.

As far as I know this is only a collection of vids from just the past few months

Regarding the short psycho who was rocking back and forth and licking his lips in anticipation of cracking protesters' skulls (around 6-8 seconds into vid), I never knew he issued an apology and his chief stuck up for him in a conference.

It's a systemic problem.

We need more diversity on the force and greater accountability for police officers. People thinking we can get rid of police forces altogether are as out to lunch as anarchists who think we could get by without governments. But America is in need of serious revision when it comes to immunity, silence, and gang mentalities among those in the police forces.

Nah, people choose to be in a profession, they don't choose to be a certain race. It's a very weak argument.

Considering the responsibility and authority they have, people should be much harsher on cops.

Prejudice toward a profession isn't the same as prejudice toward a race. Nobody should be trying to make that argument.

That doesn't make it okay to generalize and say that wearing a police uniform automatically makes you a bad person. And don't give me that shitty "any good person would..." argument because you've let this shit happen too.

And when people said they wanted accountability from cops, what did the cops do? Amped up the brutality, threw tantrums that their behaviour was called out and refused to go on calls.

This is ridiculous. You could make this compilation about any group and title it the same thing. Everybody knows that is not ok, but people think its ok for cops. Yeah you choose to be a cop. Don't you think a lot of people choosing to be a cop is a GOOD thing? To pick a dangerous job because you want to help people? Sure there are some who pick it for wrong reasons but what about all the people that do it for good reasons?
