Aren't we? Once we get a vaccine for the corona virus and get it under control it's still not going to completely go away.

So just like how we have flu season during the colder months, we're probably gonna start having a COVID season during most if not all the other months.

So now not only will we have to worry about the flu but we'll also have to worry about COVID, only COVID season will last longer and be much earlier in the year.

and with conditions in factory farms, it's only a matter of time before more of them come along.

The bigger issue with Covid-19 though is the after effects. Generally after you recover from the flu you're back to 100% in a few days. Covid though is showing to have after effects that are going to last the rest of people's lives.

another potential concern is a measles outbreak: herd immunity for covid has been estimated at around 70%; for measles it's more like 94%. there are definitely already areas of the US that are below that due to anti-vaccers, and the covid lockdown disrupted normal vaccination schedules.

and measles effectively erases your immune system. so once it's back, everything else comes with it
