New games start at the top of every hour, but if a game is in extra innings and hasn't finished by the time the next games are supposed to start (hasn't happened yet to my knowledge) then they all get pushed back an hour. Regular season ends Friday, playoffs are Saturday, on Sunday we rest

Whats the deal with being incinerated (how many people, why them, how often)

All we know is that it's happening because we opened the Forbidden Book (last week's election decree), there's seemingly no method to the madness. Jaylen Hotdogfingers was incinerated right when the book was opened on Sunday, but then on Monday nothing further happened. Yesterday in the early part of the day there were four or five, then none for a while until Scrap last night.

Also for people just joining this week who may not know, the Hellmouth Sunbeams were originally the Moab Sunbeams, until the hellmouth opened as a result of the book.

Well does a team have only eight batters when someone is incinerated

And where are the notifications when people get incinerated

The player gets replaced. In the game that it occurs it will say so on the game summary, like this

i suppose it makes sense to promote engagement, but apparently you win the same amount when betting, regardless of the % chance

this was common sense anyway, but the correct strategy is to bet the maximum amount on the most heavily favored team every time

You win slightly more if you bet on the underdog team but it's not enough to justify doing it

Yeah, once youre getting into betting hundreds of coins the difference in payout is more apparent, but early on there is no reason not to pick the favored team
