Stuff:
- Ratings 1-10, no decimals. If you include a decimal, I will round down.
- We will do two ratings for each character character (CH) & unit (UN). They will be separate lists and you do not have to rate for both lists. Character rating is for design, personality, aesthetics, story, etc. and unit rating for everything gameplay related. If you only submit one rating and dont specify which, it will default to the character rating.
- You are free to rate any characters from past days or change your rating.
- Nominations for future characters are accepted. This does not guarantee your noms will be up for rating the next day but they will be moved up the queue for sooner rather than later.

Conquest Corrin is maybe the worst protagonist ever. Still bad enough on the other routes to get the worst possible rating.

SD Ogma is pretty good for a few chapters, but even there he's not amazing. Falls off fairly quickly because swordlock sucks in SD and he doesn't have cavalier to reclass to, meaning he quickly turns into an Armorslayer bot that otherwise has no offense or durability worth mentioning. Least he has those few good chapters! In NM he's a fair bit better due to having more functional bases, being useful in the prologue briefly and access to class set A and the Paladin/Swordmaster options it brings (plus swords are better), but still nothing special. SD Linde has beefy chip damage with Aura and little else, in NM she's fairly good due to being around so early with Aura's huge might and she can do some fun stuff with Nosferatu once in a while, plus later on she can rock the Levin Sword Swordmaster set up quite well.

Clair manages to be a rare not so good pegasus knight, mainly due to having pretty crappy bases (even her speed is unremarkable!). Falcoknight, while toned down from the original, is still a powerhouse class but it's a long ways off and Alm doesn't have as many monsters to fight anyway. FE4 Finn is a weird dude to talk about due to his availability being the way it is. He's one of your better units in the first gen when he's there, especially in chapters 2 and 3, then he's important for chapter 7 and decent filler until the final chapter eventually gets to be too much for him. Pretty important guy overall!

FE5 Finn is a strong dude with a leadership star and a dumb good personal weapon, lot less impressive indoors and fades from relevance when the almighty Warp staff kicks in though. Ronan is bad. Like, really bad. His extra move relative to other unpromoted foot units can help with chapter 3 but that's about the extent of his talents. Corrin is obviously super strong, probably the best unit in Fates overall.

Ogma is one of the less interesting of the Ogmas, he's a cool guy with some background with Caeda but overall just kinda generic. I like Linde and wish she had more screentime. Clair I quite like as a character, she's probably one of my favorites from Echoes -- she's haughty but really makes an effort to be better. Finn is a great supporting character for all of Jugdral. Corrin sux. Eldigan is my favorite NPC! He's my favorite implementation of the Camus style characters because he has better reasons for fighting you than most and still ends up conflicted, and is the only(?) Camus to actually go and confront the lord he's not willing to disobey.

As units IDK the first 3 are all okay I guess. Finn is a brave lance machine which you can't complain too much about. Corrin is obv OP.

Ogma is ok for a bit, but he does tend to fall off.

Linde is Aura spam and that's about it.

Clair is a fairly mediocre flier in a route where fliers aren't all that useful. The effective damage against monsters is good, and she has a good enough speed growth where she doesn't really care about losing speed from weapons. But her bases are fairly low and she only has one promotion to help them, so I can't rate her too high.

Finn is one of the better units in Gen 1, but unfortunately he leaves after chapter 3. He's great at the start of Gen 2, where he's basically another Oifey if you trained him in Gen 1. Unfortunately, he's one of two non-replacement Gen 2 units with no possibility of having holy blood, so his stats are going to fall off and he's not going to be able to hang with the enemies in the endgame. But his contributions before that still make him a great unit.

Finn in FE5 is one of the better units in outdoor maps, with his personal Brave Lance letting him kill most enemies and make him one of your better capturers. Unfortunately, he's fairly weak in indoor maps, where he's stuck with a weapon type that he's not proficient in. It's not the worst thing since it gives you a chance to rest him so you don't need to use an s-drink on him, but it dings him enough to knock him down to an 8.

Ronan is one of those units that you wonder what they were thinking when they came up with them. An archer with 15% strength growth and 55% magic growth in a game where there aren't any bows that use magic? It gives him high res due to how magic works in FE5, but with that strength he's not even going to ORKO mages. He has high move for a foot unit, but does that really matter when he can't really do anything with it?

Corrin is another OP avatar. Not so much as Robin, but they'll be one of your best units throughout all 3 routes.
