People should be furious. Anyone in those cities with half a brain will take to the streets to protests these tactics, which will only make these protests turn into riots because of them.

Honestly the whole thing is very reminiscent of the 2014 Ukrainian revolution in which peaceful protestors were being rolled up by unmarked police forces, sometimes beaten (which we've now seen happen to that Navy Veteran, fuck the DHS scum that did that), and then dumped in the woods. There was even question about whether those police forces were even Ukrainian or had Russian government affiliation.

We're dangerously close to that point, and I really hope whatever happens here doesn't follow down that road, because it was a dark road.

Its fascism. Plain and simple. While ive always known Trump was a fascist at heart and would-be dictator, ive tried to avoid the most dire predictions about his presidency, but anyone who doesnt feel a chill down their spine at the sight of this isnt paying attention, or failed world history. Everyone should be deeply, deeply unsettled by this turn of events.
