last time i didnt swtich to them cuz of some $300+ installation fee.

But ive had it with att. They constantly cut out in my area. Once it cut out on me during my last final of my undergrad career and i had to leave home for internet to study. Having absolutely all of mt family home for the rona has made all of my internet woes that much worse with everyone streaming netflix and video chatring all day every day now. Doesnt help that att's "best" in my area is 25 mbps (reality is 18mbps tops on a good day(

Now i just my bite the bullet, should I CE? Any other option to look at in CA?

Is it their fiber or DSL? Either way, cable is probably gonna be faster

Moving out of California would be a start.

But yes, fuck ATT, they're garbage. Comcast pisses me off too, but I don't have nearly as many issues as you described.

I think their cable is available in my area. No fiber yet except for the downtown area in my city.

Just no. Comcast has a monopoly where I live (unless you want dial up speeds) and they're constantly abusing their free reign with ridiculously poor speeds no matter what you're paying for. I average like 10 mb speeds even though I pay for 100.

Just look at this trash they're pedaling as 100 mb.

This has been my experience with Comcast for YEARS. They don't care because you either pay up or you're left with nothing.

I feel like having speeds that low with cable/Comcast indicates an issue with your wiring or signal levels (or both)

Have you ever called a tech out to look at things?

I had Comcast in California, they sent me a modem I didn't ask for and when I was leaving I took it back and they made me throw the box in the trash behind the building. Kind of weird customer service lol.

I have them here now though since the alternative is Verizon and I didn't like what they were doing to the firefighters in Cali. I'm sure Comcast has had its fair share of scandals I'm ignorant to though

I've tried multiple modem/routers at multiple locations in the city and always had the same experience. It's on Comcast's end.
