Honestly anything other than Sokka x Suki is forced. None of the other characters really have romantic connections. Even Kataang is forced.

Wait doesn't that main character kid have a thing for the water bender at the start of the show?
I forget what either of their names are. But he seemed to have a crush on her....I don't htink she felt the same way. I kinda got the impression that the main bad dude with the scar on his face was gonna end up with the water bending girl, but not sure why I felt that way.
