I just finished Bioshock 2's Minerva's Den DLC. It was pretty good.

Gonna start up either Suikoden or God of War tomorrow. I'll probably start Bioshock Infinite later on this week as well.

The opening up to the first save point took me three tries to get past. Then i read a tips before you start thing and oh hey i had a ton of recovery potions i didnt know about. >_>

Haven't been able to get into the albums post Into the Sun. Those first four though are varying levels of great. I'm still kicking myself cause I had a chance to see them in concert during that album tour around 2008 and passed on it out of sheer laziness. Same with the NiN/sound garden double bill tour around that time.

Minecraft is like that with me. I'm so hell bent on beating it. Survival mode does have an endgame. This game is so sandboxy though, I build a little house, then i'm like "well fuck i'm gonna make a mine and make a little town around my house. I like it to be in a wide open area so for the longest time I would get burned out by cutting down all the fucking tree's. Then I discovered I could craft a lighter and just start a massive forest fire which really sped up my progress.

But something always happens. I fall into a hole or something I didn't see and plunge like a 1000ft down and lose all my shit, throw a fucking raging tantrum and say FUCK THIS IM DONE. But I always keep coming back. GODAMNIT i'll finish this game one day.

i honestly didnt even have any pre concieved ideas going in but i love bullet hell games n twin stick shooter so it got me right off the bat with that opening.

The visuals and music and atmosphere are amazing too but that said i can see it being a game thats not for everyone.

Im trying to think of a game i didnt like till much later... i know theres a ton but i cant recall one atm.

The thing I like about Minecraft is it's great to play while drinking, listening to music, or podcasts. It's really casual that way but yeah I do get burned out mining for shit for a long time. Yeah it is good for that.

Thats why i like descenders too. Although the drunker i get the more i cant resist going for big tricks and so i kust die a lot.

Definitely cant play the long dark drunk. Learned that the hard way.

Theres just something about it for me. Well see how long the magic lasts but from what i hear the first play through isnt very long so ill probly at least finish that. The inventory and upgrade system isnt very intuitive though. Im still early on.
