Pro blm is fine. Anti police or general negativity isn't really work appropriate.

Only if the company has some sort of rule about not wearing any political clothing whatsoever or if there's a work culture that frowns on talking about politics or something weird like that.

If you're specifically picking banning BLM imagery than I'm thinking there's some racism going on or something.

Any type of branding or logo shouldnt be acceptable at work. Youre there to work, not preach your beliefs.

This goes for sports teams musicians brand logos, any and all things other than solid colors or designs.

It's inappropriate for any political or religious view to be expressed in the work place unless it's your job and anyone who gets fired for doing so regardless of the leaning or position is the fairest of next's.

I would say that it is inappropriate to express political views while on the job.

It's up to the business itself for that though, but I wouldn't want a business with meat is murder masks or something like that.

it should be appropriate since no decent person with basic comprehension and critical thinking skills should have a problem with the statement

If the company allows political statements associated with their uniforms, no. If they do not, then yes. I would say personal opinions, political or not, really shouldn't be expressed at all while on the clock, but each company can make their own rules.

I think it's inappropriate. Everyone knows what's going on. I think any political or stance you have should not be brought into the work place. I don't give a shit what you support but I do care when it's being forced into my face 24/7. That's when people stop giving a shit about whatever the cause is.

For those calling if a political stance:

Saying "black lives matter" is not a political statement. It is declaration of reality. It happens to stand in definiance of systemic racism which can make it feel political, but someone saying BLM is not meant to be about politics, its literally "stop treating black (Americans) as second and third rate citizens".

There is nothing political about that and if your gut reaction to such a thing is "well now, let's not get political here..." it does not reflect well on your core worldview. It is time for society to change and people continuously sweeping these issues under the rug are what has led to protests and riots. Yes it should be in the work place because it needs to be forced into the brain of every person that BLM and if you can't accept that you don't deserve to be part of this society.

Whether someone means it or not, the phrase is now inherently linked to an existing organization seeking political change. Wearing a shirt that has a similar phrase like "black lives are important" would be different in my opinion.

Would you wear a Democrat or Republican themed mask to work? Or wear a MAGA mask? If those are political, than so is BLM
