that the next installment will not have any single-player content whatsoever. Also, if the next installment has not been announced, they have announced it sort of by necessity.
CEO Thomas J DevsBro III provided this information in an interview with DevsMag. Nobody plays single player anymore lol. And nobody has real friends either, what with the pandemic and stuff, so we took out couch multiplayer too. We decided not to waste money on crap nobody wanted so we can enrich the online multiplayer experience with more hats. When asked about the idea that hats are usually paid DLC anyway, he commented: Yeah but we have actually secured the licenses for real-world hat brands so we can use their logos for the DLC hats. That costs money, you know! *laughs* You will still have to pay for the hats though. But where they would have been an extra dollar more expensive for the branding, they're now the same old $2.99 figure everyone knows and loves. He went on to comment: Besides, we here at DevsCo are very much interested in hearing our players' voices. If players voice a desire for a traditional single-player campaign-- though I can't imagine why--we will absolutely be willing to add one back in as DLC for a reasonable sum. I mean, the mechanics and some of the resources are already there so it probably won't cost as much as a full game normally does, while there are some companies that sell a single-player campaign for full MSRP!
