I didn't much like the PS4 Pro version but mostly it was because it was locked to 30 FPS. I think I would've liked the actual game itself, though.

It's a pretty fun game. Kind of glitchy/quirky with how some of the mechanics work, but that just made it more entertaining for me because it let me play in different ways, especially when you can call in the two pilot Guns for Hire >_>

I've heard that the biggest problem with FC5 is that it's almost too hands-off in terms of progression, even compared to FC4 and FC3.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by this? I couldnt get into the game myself but I cant quite finger why.

I don't know about that. They minimized the collect-a-thon - there are far fewer collectibles to get and they're generally part of a few missions now.

There is a forced story mission mechanic that is annoying and invasive but infrequent. Basically you get "progress points" towards liberating a territory (there are three territories) and once you hit point milestones the enemy will come roll you up and you have to play through the story mission. It's annoying because you could be literally like ten feet from another mission starting point and be about to talk to the quest giver and then NOPE you're doing the story mission. Like I said, infrequent (two or three times per territory) but potentially annoying.

I also found it to be faster paced at times, as your "wanted level" goes up you'll get into longer firefights than they had in previous FC games.

Because they quite literally force you into a lot of story sections. They will straight up knock you out when not in another story mission whilst just out in the world, and you cannot stop it. Probsbly the games biggest complaint.

From an actual gameplay polish and breadth standpoint, it's arguably the best in the series.

It is absolutely worth that much money. For all their complaints, 3, 4, and 5 are all fun games for the right price.

It has a smaller gun arsenal, and the AI is pretty stupid to the point where you can still 100% stealth an outpost by just running around with a silenced gun, since half the time the enemy runs to cover and "can't see you" even when you're breathing on them lol.

But that kind of quirkiness made it more fun for me.

I might pick up 3 as well, since it's like $2.99

I 100% completed FC4 on PS4 when it first came out, so no point in going back to that one.

At that price it is worth it. It has its problems, but at the end of the day its got a very solid 10-20 hours FPS campaign.

I meant polished as in less clunky. 3 and 4 always felt kinda clunky, though I still enjoyed them a shit load. 5 just felt "smoother" to play, especially the driving.

BTW, the three best main weapons are the modern AK(forget the name), the 50 cal sniper, and the mk249 lmg. Have all three of those and you're set.

I'm doing new game plus in FC5 right now actually lol.

+ I liked the complaints of the game:

• Enemies fuck your **** up all the time
• Enemies will come randomly from all the way across the map and inconveniently **** your shit up
• You thought what you were doing is important, maybe you wanted some fresh air? Take in the scenery? Dont worry heres some random enemies who will randomly pop up just to **** your shit up

Also, in 5, you can have two companions out at the same time. The best are the sniper chick to the southwest of the map, peaches the mountain lion, cheeseburger the grizzly bear, and nick the pilot. If you like stealth, the mountain lion is your bottom bitch. If you like action, the bear is a literal tank in the MMO sense, drawing all the attention.

Ya lol, every game in the series does that. 2 was the most severe because everything respawns every time you rest.

Also, the whole series is on sale on all platforms right now. On console, 3 is $3, 4 is $6, and 5 is $8. Primal is $6 too I believe.
