Just out of laziness...I might be worse than what you're talking about lol It's similar, I've been like 8000 miles since an oil change and decide to put it off to do something that is definitively "blowing money on unnecessary shit" like getting a piercing. I do keep a budget for essentials and load my checking account accordingly, I check my accounts almost every day, and I do have savings built up a bit, but if I have extra money in checking I'm not cautious with it at all. Like if I have $40 or 50 in there by the time I get paid again, I can be happy with that. I've gotten better as I've become more long term oriented lately, I used to just run it all out before the next payday and didn't have savings at all, but I still spend a lot on things I don't need or use. One thing, is I was buying 2-5 games per month, but most weeks I game for less than 4 hours so I hardly ever start what I buy, and even more rarely finish it. It's been a few weeks since I bought a new game tho, and I'm planning to not buy anything until the weather gets bad, mostly just I definitely plan to get TLoU2 after I finish the first one, which should be before winter lol. --- ... Did you not receive a stimulus? I got stimulus, but I put it in savings and pretended I didn't. I still work full time too. Probably car mechanics, I can change a tire, change the oil, change the air filter, fill tires with air, add oil, window washing fluid, transmission fluid, etc. I don't know much beyond that.
I can swim, cook, garden, raise livestock, sew, drive, start a campfire, have survival skills taught by boy scouts and the military. I can do minor construction projects, basic home repair, basic plumbing knowledge, I've fixed electronics including an Xbox, rewired a lamp, installed a ceiling fan.
