The top score I'm seeing used rainbow LR Hercule as the attacking unit so my perception of how this works is completely destroyed

Yeah. You seemingly here Fat Buu as a connector or you cant hit a full Ext bar. At the very least its incredibly difficult to.

From what I can tell not really. There arent many to begin with. STR Fat Buu Dokkand and Undokkand, PHY Fat Buu Dokkand and Undokkand and the F2P TEQ Fat Buu who somehow becomes less effective when you Dokkan him into Super Buu

Yeah, so it seems like your best attacker is either LR Hercule, INT EZA Ultimate Gohan or STR Gohan, and for your connectors you want one of the two Gohans and then STR Fat Buu. You want to pick friend teams with either a bunch of Ult Gohans or Gotenks, and then all Buus for extreme. Ideally you want friend teams that are all rainbowed, because those stats make a difference.

Thats what Ive gathered, anyway, though Ive only been able to hit like 45m. Maybe my friends suck, or maybe its not possible for me to do better because my Gohans are only 55% and I dont have Hercule maxes yet. I dunno.

My highest is 77,777,077. So close to perfection

Somehow hit 62m tonight. Still not really sure why that run did it over others but whatever. Barely squeaking into top 10% with that, though I dont expect thatll stick throughout the week.

So I think my biggest hangup is the 3-man supporter squad during the actual battle. Do they just need to be good with themselves, or do you want 3 supporters who link best with the attacking unit? I did an LR Hercule with not full power and not rainbowed/SA10 and hit like 59M (I don't remember what supports I used), then got hercule maxed out AND full power and got 3 gotenks supporters and only hit like 30M. I don't understand where the disconnect is happening.

The key to high scores seems to be finding teams full of rainbow Ultimate Gohans and Fat Buus. Like for EXT the best setup you can apparently get is somebody who has STR & PHY Fat Buu as UR and TUR and even the free TEQ Fat Buu. For your own attacker it sounds like its best to pick EZA SS3 Gotenks, PHY SS3 Gotenks or EZA INT Ultimate Gohan and then use an Ultimate Gohan as your Super Connector and STR Fat Buu as your Extreme Connector. For the actual attack park I think you just pick 3 Ultimate Gohans or 3 Fat Buus if they show up and you should get a high score? I dunno. It all feels so weird.

I don't really see Super Vegito and Blue Vegito as the same character so I'm fine with getting a new Super Vegito card. I mean the last one was PHY Super Vegito and it was like 3 years ago

Oh I expect to get shafted too considering Ive only got about 400 stones currently. I really need to get those new IDBH stages done, I still havent done any of the 3 newer ones yet.

Hes not too great sadly. I sometimes forget I even have him since the only time Ive used him on a team in the last 2-3 years is the dumb punching bag event

Hes a good support. Theres just not much that really needs him. Hes good punching bag material for the ATK boost though

I think 81 million is about my limit on this chain event

After flailing around for a few days I think Ive decided I dont like chain battle.

My friends are all mostly terrible and very few have optimized teams set up for this.

Did the Babadi IDBH. Was pretty easy, although it took 22 turns so I just missed out on that mission. Probably would have been fine if I actually had the links leveled on the team I was using. Oh well.

Finally had a good chain battle run and hit 76m. I think thats pretty close to my theoretical maximum given my box and friends, so I guess I just cross my fingers and hope thats enough to stay top 10%.

SO is there any benefit for waiting to do the 50 ticket summon rather than just doing 7 every time

From what I hear theres no GSSR on the tickets and the only way you could spend 50 at once is if you exchange some of the special new dragon stone for tickets. Theyre giving out the special stone this time around and you can either directly exchange for units or exchange them for tickets. We dunno what the exchange rate is for the cards or anything though. If you want you can just play it safe a few more days when we find out more

Once you use all the good connectors then who's best to use to attack with?

I think your attacker is completely independent of your connectors and support teams, so you should always be using your highest stat unit that falls under the bonus categories. So just keep using LR Hercule, TEQ SSJ Gotenks or EZA INT Gohan.

slowly been grinding out the links for my kamehameha team over the past few days

so many saibamen have died for this

Does anyone know what determines which links level up and how often? Is it the number of times that link gets activated?

It's a random percentage chance for each link at the end of any battle. The higher level the link already is, the lower the chance of leveling up. Higher stamina stages give you higher chances at getting level ups.

Basically it's entirely RNG.

Yeah, its all RNG. I wouldnt worry about it. Just play like usual and stuff will eventually level up. It takes a ton of grinding to hit 10 for all links anyways

I'll pick supporters and get full power then pick the same the next day and get just short of it. I don't understand it.

Well there's also the RNG element of which characters show up in battle too. Apparently picking 3 Fat Buus is the best option but picking 3 Ult Gohan is only slightly worse. Sometimes I don't even get 3 of either as attackers
