growing up in those more urban areas/cities where you just use it more casually friendly way rather than derogatory. its just the culture.

but it seems like FGC ppl are now getting in trouble for it because the community has been gentrified by white ppl who dont understand that and obviously didnt grow up around minorities or in a more lower socioeconomic backgrounds where clowning on each other is just that, clowning for fun. Their white-privileged asses are now imposing their concept of 'speaking proper' on these dudes and now getting them cancelled.

You know, if there had to be some kind of a loophole by which it was okay for white people to use the n-word, I would say you could consider yourself an honorary black person if you caught an unwarranted beating from the police.

You'd be singing in the club, saying the words to the song. Some people would be looking at you like you were trying to start a fight. Then you'd flash that BBP (Beaten By Police) tattoo on your wrist -- and baton scar on your forehead -- and it'd all be okay. You're allowed to say that word because you're an honorary member of the club. You too have been a victim of systematic oppression.

It depends. If someone said "Hey man, Bobby called some random black guy the N-word and got his ass kicked at the bar" is more cringey than just saying what he said. It's like the wizarding world always saying you-know-who. Obviously calling someone that word is wrong but quoting it or discussing the merit of the word, i personally don't see a problem with. It ain't like its something that should be everyday vocabulary but sometimes situations come up where it needs to be said and self censoring for no reason cringes me out

.....that's not even remotely the same thing. In this case you're repeating verbatim what someone else said for the purposes of relaying information. You're not pretending to be part of a culture you're not actualy a part of.

Like if I was telling someone who hadn't heard the Mel Gibson tapes, I would tell them "And then he said 'I hope you get raped by a pack of...'" and then I'd say the actual word, I wouldn't say "N-words". Because that's what he said. I cant say it here for good reason. But its not like I go out of my way to say these things, its just when the subject comes up.

What I think you are thinking of is when white guys go "Hey what's up my *" to everyone and trying to act like they're bout it which I will admit is extremely cringey. But thats not what I'm discussing here
