What's good to watch?

Assuming the video streaming service, since the only comparison is netflix, a video streaming service.

Depends. I keep an active sub for both but at times I've dropped Netflix to SD.

Netflix, everything you can see on there you can immediately watch. There's a huge backlog of originals. And they have original shows that are actually new staples of the tv genre.

Prime has some good originals going on, don't get me wrong, but their backlog isn't there and they don't have any original gamechanger shows, they just don't. Their biggest thing so far has been 'The Man in the High Castle'. And on Prime, most of what you're gonna see listed is only available for rent. They also just got a really big hit with HBO Max coming on the scene, since before then they had a lot of classic HBO shows available in blu ray quality on stream, like The Wire, Oz, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Rome, etc.

Yah, its pretty legit. They wont have a few rare things and wont have some people who I guess are signed to Apple or something.

I used it a shit ton before I got Apple Music for free. It was only a few bucks more on amazon music to get everything.

if youre using prime shipping, the music, and the streaming then Id go with that. If you dont care about shipping or the music, I recommend not getting prime. Go with Netflix or I actually love Disney plus, but I love all their shit from classics to new stuff.

Should be noted that even with Amazon Prime you don't get access to ALL their digital video offerings, just stuff marked Prime, and a lot of stuff is still locked behind paywalls and third-party channel subscriptions.

Also the music service is pretty lackluster. With Prime you get a good amount of content but again not *all* the content unless you pay for an additional sub.

Honestly I think the most impressive fringe benefit of Prime is the free photo storage.

The videos are cool but I don't watch a lot of original Amazon programming, and it's definitely not why I have Prime.

Yeah they got millions of free songs tons of free shows and movies. I cant believe you guys been missing out on all this theres even books and magazines that you can read for free

Prime. It actually has old films and a variety of stuff from around the world, the video quality isn't always amazing but I've discovered a lot of good stuff through prime. Also it has Tokyo Vampire Hotel which is the best original show from any streaming service.
