Does BLM fight racism or only makes it worse?

Bottom line, the whole picture; does BLM help fight against racism or only incite it generally?

I don't believe it's efforts will change the minds of racists, they will remain racists. Alabama Bubba flying his confederate flag from his shitty truck isn't just gonna say tomorrow "Well, I was wrong. I'm not gonna be racist anymore." They will raise their fat inbred children to be racists and it's something that won't go away.

I think bringing prominent attention to it will remove a lot more of the blatant racist things in our society that had been deemed acceptable for too long, and help diversify the nation more, bringing a bit more understanding to what is and isn't okay and acceptable.

BLM movement could go about things so much better, but the lines of communication from rural white America to urban America are so far lost there is just no hope of finding any discord. Rather, they will just continue to drift apart until some legislation brings them together then over time they can build a level of communication or after something horrible happens.

People thought the 50s-70s Civil Rights Movement was only inflaming tensions and making things worse, an idea that is rightly ridiculed today. It will be the same with BLM. People think things are worse because BLM forces them to confront uncomfortable truths about society that they were either ignorant of or intentionally ignored.

Keeping the analogy: does an oncologist treat things other than cancer, or do they leave non-cancer cases to other groups? It's not that they don't care about asthma patients, or that they don't matter, but it's not what their specialty is.

BLM as an ideal or philosophy is absolutely fine. If any race of people has proportionately struggled throughout history and faced all sorts of injustices and prejudices, it's the lives of blacks and Africans. I fully support that notion that they need to be treated the same as anyone else.

BLM the organization is not fine at all. Their founders are feminists and even stated themselves as trained Marxists years ago when the movement was first founded. Their agenda is undermining the black struggle and further dividing the black community, by means of "disrupting the nuclear family" (blacks are already statistically the group with the highest percentage of single-mother households with no father figure), and "dismantle cisgender privilege and uplifting black trans folk, especially black trans women". That basically means that they eventually want a radical leftist society of all black (LBGTQ) women/children, and no heterosexual black men. I do not support that notion at all, as it clearly further perpetuates racism and discrimination against their own race.

Not going to mention where the money goes that gets donated to them, that's a whole different issue.

That's because you are viewing the points as their own separate ideas, ignoring how they are exactly the way I described them. There's nothing wrong with being a feminist. There's nothing wrong with the idea of wanting men and women to have a more level playing field, or having some women tackle the status quo and push for a more direct role in society over some men (such as women that work and stay-at-home dads). There's nothing wrong with wanting to give more support to black trans women so that they're less ostracized and discriminated against.

But all those at the cost of alienating and discriminating the heterosexual men of their own race? That's literally textbook racism. And there are people that are just throwing their hard earned money at it.

The problem I have with peoples idea of fighting racism (not necessarily just a BLM thing) is it's usually just more violence.
When a racist person gets punched in the face for being racist it feels good and nice and like justice however it's not actually solving racism. If anything it makes it worse.

The evidence is there on their website. It's right there, but hardly anyone bothers to actually read.

Note how much emphasis they put on women and LGBTQ individuals. That basically translates to them saying "black lives matter, but we care much more about the ones that aren't heterosexual black men".

It's textbook racism against themselves.

I'm not saying that women and LGBTQ don't deserve equal rights and treatment, but they do not have heterosexual men's best interests at heart.
