NeoGAF's moderating is significantly worse than GameFAQs' and users would quit so fast if GameFAQs tried to copy it.
Transparency like this isn't a good thing. It creates a toxic singular minded user base that is overly judgmental. It can work in smaller more community-driven communities, but GameFAQs (and NeoGAF) are not that.

NeoGAF changed a lot since the admin was #MeToo'd.
The staff changed completely and their radical userbase and moderators shifted to Resetera.
