Dude, school is not starting in the fall

The government just isn't saying this shit out loud - they don't want all the parents of America to freak the fuck out about going to work with their kid at home from SEP - DEC

Like, we are worse right now than we were 2 months ago May 1st. All this talk about things being back to normal in September for school time...are either stupid, or are pulling a blindfold in front of your eyes to stop you from reacting by voting them out.

But I thought the governments and health officials were adamant within weeks of discovering the virus that kids dont need to worry about coronavirus

lmao what horseshit. imagine coming up with that conclusion when (at the time) had only known about it for a few weeks

Even if true, it completely missed the point that their teachers and parents do need to worry about it.

Exactly! but gov is still adamant that its all cool. it the whole mask situation all over again. like who the fuck cares if (supposedly but I dont believe it) that kids arent as affected by coronavirus as much...there are still adults that need to deal with them and look after them.

Its all too fishy bro. "Lets fuck up the economy and shut everything down but we need to keep the kids in school cos its still safe there".

As a teacher I have been saying this for awhile. People are afraid to think about it because it is gonna be such a disaster.

Whether people want to accept it or not, most schools are gonna be open and run like "normal" for the most part. They are too important to the economy as childcare to be closed again like last spring.

Even if it isn't as serious for kids themselves they are gonna throw staff and families to the wolves. Numbers won't really drop until November or December after schools have been back in session for awhile and things have spiked. People aren't ready for the wave that is coming then. First school staffs get infected, then student immediate families, then extended families.
