I had heard this was where things would start to get difficult. He's ... pretty annoying. I've had two runs where I couldn't even manage a single attack because of these enemy attack chains this game seems to love so much. I kinda like the low health of the bosses so far, though. It's a nice change of pace for me having bosses that are difficult without taking a hundred attacks to finally kill.

you can throw dung bombs over the wall and kill him before you even pass through the fog. i dont know why you would do that, but the info itself is a fun novelty to me

endurance > skill based fights.

All you need is to do is have at least 61 poise to tank a few hits from those dogs without getting staggered. Once you've killed those 2, then it's even easier to fuck up Crappa Demon.

Oh, only 61? I have, uh ... 14. I could get up to 22 by replacing my chest piece. Is that close enough?

Errm... no. Another option is that you can just toggle-escape to avoid getting staggered or stunlocked. <_<

How to toggle-escape? I'm glad you asked. It's rather simple. All you need to do is switch your weapons from either the shield slot or primary weapon slot continuously before and/or during am enemy's attack.

Ah, I didn't know anything about this. I'll try it. I did notice that 22 poise allows me to tank through an attack by those two douches on the way. Try parrying me when your little knife is buried in my chest, douchebag.

i sometimes try to bait them off the staircase in the tower to Firelink.

I'm fond of my new solution. I'm building my character with a lot of health and the Heal spell in addition to my Estus Flasks, so I don't even care about what puny damage they can deal. There's something beautifully inelegant about just letting them stab you so that you can stab them. We take turns.

you're at one of the low points of the game, Capra's one of the worst bosses. it's mostly up from there.

Okay, whew, finally got through it. I have to say, I'm getting sick of these 'I did it!' and 'Praise the Sun' messages. I liked the thought of leaving messages for other players and all, but why do they have to suck so much?

I'm on PS4. Remastered. And philosophically I'm not wild about the whole stunlock concept, but I've enjoyed the bosses so far. Except for that maimed dude with 10,000,000 health guarding Darkroot Garden. I've got two characters atm, a sorcerer and a warrior. With the sorcerer that fight was boringly easy, and with the warrior it was annoying as hell. I've enjoyed all the other ones.

The titanite demon? Guy with bigass horns and an electric attack? Yeah those guys are a pain.

I think the titanite demon killed my warrior as many times as the capra demon, though it was a little more pleasant because he was right next to a bonfire so I didn't have to go on a journey every time. That's another aspect I'm not too wild about tbh.

As for invasions, that's something I haven't dealt with. I've reverse hollowed once for a total of like a minute or two, to kindle a bonfire before getting my ass handed to me by the aforementioned titanite demon. I accidentally invaded someone else once by clicking on one of those weird black and white signs of the Gravelord Servant, but I chickened out of that with whatever that item is before even encountering the other person.

i agree that sometimes the route from a bonfire to the boss is a bit much. once you learn the route you can just sprint the whole way.

I feel like I got lucky with him the first time, but the strat works every time: Run up those stares so the dogs box themselves in and you can hit them easily, then run the fuck away and wait for Capra to expose himself.
