Honestly, unless its overtly some loli/shota shit Im a little lenient on anime shit, because its rare that anyone is drawn to look like an actual teenager in those things. the artist just draws whatever and everyones in high school because thats the target demo.

Like, on one end of the spectrum you have Evangelion, where the kids are actually built like 14-year-olds. Id probably give a side-eye to any adult who was still horny for Asuka. >_>

And then on the opposite end youve got Street Fighter II V where Ryu and Ken are 15 years old and built like Floyd Mayweather. <_<

idk most anime is so stylized that they don't look like any real human age to me. asuka could be 14 but could also be 30 from looks alone

idk. Youve got a point, but Evangelion does such a weirdly decent job of drawing that awkward, pubescent muscle definition that me and most other kids my age had in Jr High.

especially when you compare her to Misato.
