There was some speculating on reddit that it might be some kind of financial fuckery. The idea being that sexual allegations can be difficult to prove, so it'd be kinda weird if all of his sponsors immediately dropped him for that reason. Something with literal receipts would be easy to prove.

I think the most plausible suggestion from that thread is that he wasn't disclosing sponsorships. That'd be a good reason for both twitch and advertisers to immediately cut ties with him because that could get them in trouble too.

I saw speculation that it might be due to some really bad sexual stuff and that the victim may have chose to go anonymous and take it up with the police instead of on twitter. Then a judge subpoena's Twitch for chat logs at which point Twitch may have went in and seen some incredibly incriminating stuff. It's just weird that Twitch and everybody else is going so hard on him but nothings been leaked yet on why.

Who would he be hiding sponsors from that would result in that much trouble? That doesnt make sense. He plays the same games everyday. It would be kinda obvious if he wasnt disclosing something sponsored bc it would be out of the norm.

??? that seems like the easiest thing to pull an example from, if hes sponsored by something he would have to promote the product and it would be immediately out of place if he wasn't disclosing it as a sponsor.
