I think that most reports about him in real life say he's a decent guy, far from his persona online.

Of course that all changes once we find out what actually happened but who knows.

Last streamer I remember who was "playing a character", got banned without warning, went silent, was confirmed by other sources to be "done for good" was MethodJosh.

Here's hoping this is nothing like that. We only just recently got the story behind that, a year later, and it was vile.

All anyone knows is Twitch perma-banned him today and is erasing all connection between them. They are also refunding subs and his emotes are gone. It's pretty shocking that absolutely nothing has been leaked yet as well.

It might be. Someone that used to be affiliated with Twitch said she heard he's done and "not just on Twitch" so he must've done something truly heinous or it's money/contract related. So much speculation out there though.

That was the big one, but there were two other people who called him out a day before she posted her story. One was underage, which he was grooming.

For context: An accusation alone wouldn't result in this. A lot of people were accused. None were given this treatment; most weren't touched at all. There are no public accusations against doc, while the MeToo wave on Twitch has been people speaking out.

So whatever he did, it's probably a serious crime. Because he apparently has no active warrants/records, my best guess is either

A: A very credible sexual assault/rape allegation exists and the police are getting involved and twitch got wind of it.

B: Serious financial crimes that Twitch caught wind of somehow.
