Ideally, people should be allowed to do what they want in their personal lives as long as they aren't hurting others-- but that's where you hit the snag. Too often the people who have been polygamous are actually abusive scumbags preying on underage girls such as Warren Jeffs:

There's nothing in the constitution or amendments that concerns marriage, at all.

Other than maybe Mormons I'm not aware of any mainstream Christian denominations that support polygamy. It should remain illegal. Not only is it immoral, but it would cause other problems as well.

Legalizing that and polyandry (multiple husbands)? Sure if it means any and all adults can marry whomever they want.

Government shouldn't be involved in marriage though.
