Seeing a first-world country act like a worldwide pandemic is not a huge deal is just fucking sad. Its even worse living in it.

I watched a video today of a sheriff in a Washington county that was him saying dont be a sheep and that he doesnt care about Inslees order to wear masks in public.

Because Fauci and others want to perform contact tracing to use surveillance and mandate that millions of people get tested every day. Many of those people will return positive from the test. If that happens, lots of people will be stuck at home. If there's less people working, there's less stuff being made. If there's less stuff being made, there's even less stuff to buy, because everyone is competing with each other to buy first. You'll either pay a premium for anything based in our country, or you put money into China's pocket. It's literally a degeneration of our economy. Trump realizes this, and he wants to get the economy moving ASAP.

But nope, everyone thinks he's an idiot with an elementary-school intellect. Everyone blames him for his poor handling of the virus, when he's the one that wanted to close borders and ban travel from China in the first place, and his administration (aka Fauci and friends) urged him not to. 4 weeks of nothing, when so much could have been prevented.

Ah right, I forgot that putting a bunch of people in contact with infected individuals and have businesses lose portions of their staff to hospitalization will kickstart the economy. There are certainly more business roles that can be done from a hospital bed than from at home, after all, and it doesn't really matter how many people get the virus because we have unlimited resources for medical care and the symptoms are generally mild anyway if you ignore all the times they aren't. The man actually does know what he's doing; thanks for clarifying.

Reading articles about it on several sites, I'm seeing factual reporting in line with what Caputo is saying - federal funding will be pulled from 13 sites, with hopes that state/local funding will fill the void to keep them open. Seems more like he's ranting about people disliking the move or thinks they're making too big of a deal out of it.
