It's like simplified Dark Souls during boss fights and a mashfest through random encounters at all other times. Being simple doesn't mean unsatisfying. The card combat is experimental and fascinating and has some nice depth, but it's nowhere near as well developed as the satisfying whacking of enemies in the main games.

PSP had a couple too. Valkyria Chronicles and Parasite Eve (which was called Third Birthday).

I haven't played through the entire game yet because of how repetitive Agrabah is, but of the bosses I have faced so far, I have had a decent challenge that has been pretty fun.
