Trump uses the presidency for his own personal gain and takes actions that will weaken the country specifically for his own benefit (labeling the media as liars for criticizing him, weakening the COVID response so it doesnt seem like a big deal, deflecting the responsibility from himself to the governors, etc). Now those numbers are looking a lot closer. Bush has some hideous, inexcusable marks on his record, but I doubt even he could have been so uniformly...wrong...on every single issue.
