It had me yelling at the screen like "WTF is going on??" Almost the entire film. Few movies have done that for me. Only this and Jacob's Ladder comes to mind

Vanilla Sky came out in 2001, and the Spanish version, Abre los ojos (Open Your Eyes), came out in 1997.
