Honestly, this common understanding of 'people like talking about themselves' is the most BS thing I ever heard. Seems to apply more toward chatting with friends. But when chatting with strangers, or people I meet on dating apps, it's like an entirely diff story.

A lot of girls I match with dont actually like talking about themselves at all and when I ask personal questions, they either ghost me or hesitate to make a reply or give a very genetic reply. Yet, they don't even ask any questions back to me. How the hell do you strike up conversations like that then?

I pretty much only talk about myself to strangers.

If I expect to see anyone more than once, I tell them nothing >_>

In fact, besides my wife, CE may have the second most amount of information about me <_<

Disagree. I used to headhunt, and the first 5-10 minutes of a call is the most important on a cold call. Acquiring new talent meant being good at just asking questions about them.

Like dating a woman.
